David believes in preserving affordable housing so that middle-class families can still call Manhattan and Roosevelt Island home. He will be a champion for his constituents to ensure that tenants are protected from housing discrimination and landlord harassment, while working to create more affordable housing for the middle class and poor.

Increase the number of affordable housing units in new development on Roosevelt Island and throughout the Upper East Side
Call for state investigation of rates and charges of heating and utilities in Roosevelt Island residential buildings that currently appear to be exorbitantly high
